Winners of National MSME Awards 2022

National MSME Award has been given to States, UTs and Aspirational Districts for their sector-specific policies & their performance, Grievance redressal, implementation of the cluster approach, etc.

National MSME Awards are given in the altogether 44 categories. This year the awards were presented by PM Modi on 30 June 2022. Awards in the category of Enterprises carry a Trophy, certificate and prize money Rs. 1-3 lakhs. The amount of cash prize received by winners is exempted under Section 10(17) of Income tax Act, 1961.

Odisha has won first prize in National MSME Award 2022 followed by Bihar.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Department of Odisha bagged the first prize in the “National MSME Award 2022 to States/UTs for outstanding contribution in the promotion and Development of MSME Sector” category.

Sumeet Mohanty Saferisk Insurance Brokers Private Limited, Bhubaneswar got the first prize in the “Award for Service Entrepreneurship – Service Small Enterprise (Overall)” category.

Kalahandi received the third prize in the “National MSME Award 2022 to Aspirational districts for outstanding contribution in the promotion and Development of MSME Sector” category.
