UPPSC Civil Judge Qualification Needed
A candidate should hold the following educational qualification for the UP PCS J exam:
- To apply for UPPSC Judicial Services Exam, aspiring candidates should possess a Bachelor of Laws from a University established by Law in U.P. or any other University of India recognized for this purpose by the Governor on or before the last date of submission of the UPPSC Civil Judge application form for the exam, OR
- The candidate must be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is entitled to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate, and
- The candidate must possess a thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.

- The modes of payment are Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, and more for UPPSC Civil Judge Exam Registration 2023.
- UPPSC Civil Judge Registration fee once paid will not be refunded under any condition nor can the fee be held in backup for any other UPPSC examination or selection.

UPPSC Civil Judge Selection Process 2023
The UPPCS J Exam is similar to the UPPSC PCS exam as the selection of applicants for the Civil Judge post will be done after a three-stage process of Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. The first stage is the UPPCS J prelims exam, and the second stage is the UPPSC Civil Judge mains examination. Contenders who will clear the Mains exam are called for the interview.
UPPSC Civil Judge Preliminary Exam: The UPPSC Civil Judge Preliminary Exam is the primary stage of the recruitment procedure. You can appear in the UP PCS J Prelims exam if you satisfy the UPPCS J eligibility criteria.
UPPSC Civil Judge Mains Exam - You will be shortlisted for the mains exam only if you clear the cut-off marks in the UPPCS J Prelims exam.
UPPSC Civil Judge Interview: UPPSC Civil Judge Interview is the final stage of the recruitment procedure. After clearing the mains exam, you need to appear in Personal Interview. The UPPSC Civil Judge interview will be conducted for 100 marks.
UPPCS J Final Merit
The final merit of the UP PCS J exam will be made by including the marks of the UPPCS J Mains exam and the UPPCS J Interview.
