UPSC CDS Notification
UPSC releases notifications for UPSC CDS 1 and UPSC CDS 2 in a year. Generally, for CDS 1 notification is available from November in the previous year and for the CDS 2 exam, notification is available from May. The upcoming exam is UPSC CDS 2023, the details of CDS 2023 will be provided soon:

CDS 2022 Admit Card
CDS Admit Card 2022 is now available from 10 August 2022 and will be available till 4 September 2022. We advise you to download the CDS admit card 2022 as soon as possible and do not wait for the last minute. Also, take out the print of Admit Card as a hard copy is required to be carried in the CDS exam. Know how to download CDS 2 2022 admit card.
UPSC CDS 1 2022 Exam Pattern
The UPSC CDS Exam comprises of two steps:
1. Written Examination
2. Interview for Intelligence and Personality test
The written examination for IMA, INA and Air Force Academy will include the exams for Elementary Mathematics, English and General Knowledge. For OTA, only English and General Knowledge exams are required. There is a penalty for the wrong answer of one-third of the marks assigned to that question

UPSC CDS 1 2022 Eligibility
Candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the CDS exam before applying to UPSC CDS. The eligibility conditions are divided into four parts:
1. Nationality criteria for UPSC CDS
A candidate applying to the UPSC CDS exam must be unmarried and must be:
(a). a Citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
