Bank Of India PO 2023 Selection Process
Selection will be done for Bank of India PO Jobs based on three phases as follows:
- Online Examination
- Interview
- Group Discussion
Final selection will be based on the marks achieved by the applicants in Online Test, Personal Interview, and Group discussion and the candidate must be physically fit to get a job at the Bank of India.
Online Test
- All the candidates applying for the Bank of India PO exam 2023 will be eligible to write the online exam.
- It will be a computer-based test.
- The English Descriptive paper will be available bilingually (English and Hindi), except for the Test of English Descriptive Paper and English Language.
- The online exam of English Language and English Descriptive Paper will be of qualifying nature, i.e., Marks achieved in English Language and English Descriptive Paper will not be included while preparing the Bank of India PO Merit List.
- The minimum qualifying mark for the General/EWS category will be 40% and 35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category candidates.
- Negative marking will also be there in the Objective Tests.

Personal Interview
- The Personal Interview will be conducted by the Bank for the candidates selected in the Online Examination.
- The Personal Interview will be of 60 Marks. The minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category applicants and 35% for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD category applicants.
Group Discussion
- Group Discussion will be held for the applicants selected via online test at some selected exam centers.
- The total online marks allotted for Group Discussion (GD) will be 40. The minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category applicants and 35% for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD category applicants.
The final selection of the aspirants will be based on the marks achieved by the applicants in Online Test, Personal Interview, and Group discussion.
The final merit list will be prepared in descending order for the particular categories, i.e., SC, OBC, ST, EWS, and GEN.
Admission For PGDBF (Post Graduate Diploma In Banking & Finance)
- After the final selection of applicants as above, they will compulsorily have to pass the Diploma course (PGDBM) before joining the Bank.
- As mentioned below, the one-year PGDBF course fee is Rs. 3,50,000/- + GST.
- During the first three-quarters applicant will get a stipend of Rs.2500/- per month, and during the last quarter, the candidate will get Rs. 15,000/- per month.
- The selected applicants will have the choice to pay the course fee from their personal sources or by availing of an education loan from our Bank of India which will be subject to availability.
