RRB NTPC 2019
Latest Update: Railway Official has announced that the RRB NTPC Exam will take place from 28 December 2020 till March end 2021.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official notification for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) on February 28, 2019. The online registration process started from 3 March 2019 and continued till 31 March 2019.
The RRB NTPC 1st stage CBT exam was scheduled to be held between June and September 2019. But the exam got delayed and there is no official information regarding when will the exam take place.
It is a three-stage exam which includes the following stages:
- 1st stage CBT
- 2nd stage CBT
- Skill Test (for some posts)
- Medical exam and verification of documents.
There are a total of 35,208 posts under RRB NTPC category for undergraduate and graduate posts. The posts include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accountant Assistant cum typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master.

Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for the candidates who have applied to the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant
The candidates who have applied to the station master and traffic assistant post will be required to appear for a computer-based aptitude test in which there will be different test batteries and the candidates will have to qualify each test battery.
Typing Skill Test:
The candidates who have applied to the post of Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Time Keeper
The typing skill test will be qualifying in nature, which means that the marks of this test will not be added to the final merit score.
The candidate will be required to type 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
