Winners of National Teachers Award 2022

President Draupadi Murmu has awarded 46 teachers with National Teachers Awards for 2022 in New Delhi. The National Awards to Teachers honour elementary and secondary school teachers who deserve public recognition.

The Ministry of Education hosts an event at Vigyan Bhawan every year on September 5 to honor the country's top teachers, who were selected through a strict, open, and online three-stage selection process.

The National Award to Teachers was established in 1958 and is given annually by the President or Vice-President of India on 5 September. The aim of the National Awards to Teachers is to recognize and reward the dedication and hard work of those educators who have made a significant impact on the lives of their students.

The Teacher is awarded a certificate of merit, a cash reward of Rs 50,000, and a silver medal.
