SSC 10+2 CHSL 2018-2019: NOTIFICATION RELEASED, CHECK ELIGIBILITY, NUMBER OF VACANCY, POSTS, GRADE PAY & IMPORTANT DATES

Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level posts’ recruitments for the year 2018 in the year 2019 on 5th March 2019. The number of vacancies will be decided in due course. More than 2.5 million students applied for these posts, but among them, only a few thousand are selected. In the year 2017, 26 lakh students applied for SSC CHSL. The students who have passed class 12th in science, commerce or arts stream get a chance to get government job through SSC 10+2 CHSL recruitments. The Staff Selection Commission conducts competitive exams for recruitments of these posts. These posts are for various Ministries/ Departments or Offices of Government of India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SSC 10+2 CHSL 2018:
The aspirants for SSC 10+2 CHSL 2018 must check the eligibility criteria given below before applying for the exams. The candidate must have the following minimum eligibility in order to apply for SSC 10+2 CHSL 2019:
- Nationality:
The candidate applying for SSC 10+2 CHSL 2018 must be:
- An Indian citizen, or
- A subject of Nepal/ Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01/01/1962, or
- A person of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia & Vietnam with a view of permanently settling in India.
- The candidates in category (b), (c) and (d) must have a certificate of eligibility by the Government of India.

- Education qualification:
Following are the minimum education qualifications required for SSC 10+2 CHSL 2018 (as on 01/08/2019):
For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except the DEOs of C & AG) |
The candidates must have passed standard 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board or university. |
DEOs in office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (A & CG) |
The candidate must have passed standard 12th in science stream with Mathematics as a subject from any recognized board or university |
- Medical standards and physical fitness:
The candidate applying for SSC CHSL 2018 exams must be mentally and physically fit. The medical fitness criteria are mentioned in the section III of official notification. Also, the relaxation for disabilities is mentioned in the notification. The candidate applying for the exam must check the notification before applying for the exam. The physical standards are different for different zones.

- Select the option of “Tentative vacancy” and under it select the option of CHSL.
