CISF Recruitment 2022: 249 vacancies released for the post of Head Constable GD

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released the notification for the recruitment of meritorious sportsmen and women to the post of Head Constable (General Duty) against Sports Quota for the year 2021. A total of 249 vacancies have been notified; out of which 181 seats are for men and 68 are for women.

Eligibility Criteria for CISF Recruitment 2022 

The candidates should be a citizen of India. Other criteria are given below:

A. Age limit

The candidate whose age is between 18 to 23 years as of 1 August 2021 can apply for the post of head constable in CISF .i.e the candidate should not have been born before 2 August 1998 and not later than 1 August 2003. 

For SC/STs candidates- 5 years relaxation

For OBC candidates- 3 years relaxation

In case of departmental candidates- Relaxation up to 40 years of age

B. Educational Qualification

A candidate should be 12th pass from a recognised educational institution with credit of representing in State/ National/ International in games, sports and athletics. 

C. Physical Standards

NOTE: Weight should be proportionate to the height and age of the candidate.

Application Fee for CISF Head Constable Recruitment 2022

The application fee for the candidates belonging to General and OBC category is Rs. 100 that can be paid through postal order/ demand draft from the SBI drawn in favour of the officer payable at the post office/ bank.

Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from paying any application fee.

Selection Process for CISF Head Constable Recruitment 2022

The candidates whose applications are provisionally accepted will be assigned roll numbers and issued admit card to appear in the selection process. 

The stages of the selection process are as follows:

1. Physical Standard Test (PST)

2. Documentation

3. Trial Test (20 marks - Trial test in sports event to which the candidate belongs)

4. Proficiency Test (40 marks- Proficiency Test in sports event to which the candidate belongs)

After Proficiency test, merit list will be drawn. Candidates will be given marks for any one highest medal secured by him during 1 January 2019 to 31 March 2022 or in last edition of any tournament or games. 

CISF will publish the final seletion list on its recruitment website. 

Salary of CISF Head Constable GD 2022

Pay matrix Level-4 (Rs.25,500-81,100/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time.

The candidates who got selected will be governed by New Restructured Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (National Pension System) to the Central Government employess wef 1 January 2004.
