SBI SO Notification 2019 out for 477 Vacancies

State Bank of India (SBI) released the SBI SO 2019 notification for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on regular basis. The total vacancies announced are 477, out of which 450 vacancies will be filled through online written test and Interview while for the remaining 27 vacancies, candidates will be shortlisted after the document verification followed by Interview.
The Online Application Process has been started from 6th September 2019 and will continue till 25th September 2019.

Note:
- General Aptitude Test is qualifying in nature, and the marks will not be counted for the merit. The candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks as decided by the Bank.
- The candidates have to score >= cut-off marks as decided by the bank for the PK test along with qualification in General Aptitude test for getting short-listed for the interview.
Stage-2: Interview
The interview for SBI SO will carry 25 marks. The qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
SBI SO SELECTION PROCESS
For SBI SO Posts 1-24:
The candidate has to clear the cut-off for the Professional Knowledge test while the general aptitude test needs to be qualified to appear in the Interview.
The final merit list is prepared after adding the marks of PK test (out of 150 marks) and interview (out of 25 marks). The weightage of the written test and interview is 70% and 30% respectively.
For SBI SO Posts 25-35:
The selection of the candidates for SBI SO Posts 25 to 35 will be based on Shortlisting and Interview. The shortlisting will be done based on various parameters like educational qualification, experience, and any other criteria decided by the Bank.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview that will carry 100 marks. The candidate needs to qualify the interview for the final selection. The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of score obtained in the interview.
