SSC CHSL Tier 1 paper will only be used to shortlist candidates for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam and the score of the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam will not play any role in the final merit.

The candidates belonging to UR category will have to get 30% marks to clear the exam while those belonging to OBC and EWS category will have to secure 25% marks.

There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

The Merit list of SSC CHSL 2023 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam only.
