A bicycle wheel of radius 35 cm makes n revolutions in moving 11 km. What is the value of n? (Take π = 22/7)

Correct Answer : d ) 5000

Explanation :

It is given that,

Radius of wheel (r) = 35 cm.

Total distance covered by wheel in n revolutions = 11 km = 11000 m = 1100000 cm.

Total distance covered by wheel in 1 revolution = 2πr = 2 x 22/7 x 35 cm

Total distance covered by wheel in 1 revolution = 220 cm.

Total number of revolution (n) = total distance covered in n revolution/ total distance covered in 1 revolution

Total number of revolution (n) = 11000/220 = 5000

Hence, (d) is the correct answer.
