If every alternative letter of the English alphabet from A onwards (including A) is written in upper case (capitalized) and the remaining letters are written in lower case, then how is the fifth month of the year from the last is written?

According to question:

Let us assume A is numbered as 1, B as 2 and so on till Z is numbered as 26.

⇒ All the even numbered alphabet is written in lower case and all the odd numbered is written in upper case

The fifth month of the year from the last is August

A, U, G, and S have their position values as 1, 21, 7, and 19 so, they are odd numbered alphabets.

While T has its position values as 20 so, it is even numbered alphabet.

Thus, August will be written as AUGUSt

Hence, (b) is the correct answer.
