Su = S – 1 …. (4)

From equation (1) and (3)

S = 2 + 12 = 14

And, from (3) and (4)

Su = 14 – 1

Su = 13

Putting the value of Su in equation (1) we get

R = 12 + 13 = 25 mangoes

Thus, all the statements I, II, III are necessary to answer the question.
