In ∆ABC, ∠B = 90⁰ and AC = 30 cm, if the median BD is drawn on the hypotenuse, then find the length of the median?

Correct Answer : b ) 15 cm

Explanation :

From the given information the diagram can be drawn as

In the right-angle triangle, D will be the circumcentre

Therefore,

BD = AD = DC

So, BD = AD = \(\frac{AC}{2}\) = \(\frac{30}{2}\) = 15 cm.

Hence, (b) is the correct answer.
