Explanation :The Borra Caves are located in the Ananthagiri hill range of the Araku Valley on the eastern coast of India.
Considered to be one of the largest caves in India, the caves have karstic limestone structures, which extend to a depth of 80 m.
Spread over an area of approximately 2 square kilometres, these caves are situated at an altitude of about 1,400 metres above sea level.
In 1807, these caves were discovered by William King George of the Geological Survey of India.
