The Institute of Banking Personnel or the IBPS has released its notification for the much-awaited IBPS PO Examination on 2 August 2019 for the recruitment of 4336 Probationary Officers and Management Trainees in the 17 Participating Banks. A total of 4336 vacancies for IBPS PO 2019 are available as per the notification of IBPS PO. The online application process will start next week from 7 August 2019 and will continue till 28 August 2019.

IBPS PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The candidates willing to apply for the IBPS PO 2019 Examination, should meet the following Eligibility Criteria:

1. Nationality:
   1. Citizen of India OR
   2. A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan OR
   3. A Tibetan Refugee, migrated to India before 01st January 1962, intending to permanently settle in India OR
   4. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam intending to settle in India permanently.

For categories (ii), (iii) and (iv), the person applying should have a certificate of eligibility issued to them by the Government of India in their favour.

2. Age (As on 01st August 2019)

• The age of the candidate should be between 20 years to 30 years, The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02nd August 1989 and not later than 01st August 1999, with both dates inclusive

3. Educational Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a Government recognized University or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Central Government of India.
