Blood is a fluid connective tissue that contains blood corpuscles and plasma. Albumin is the main protein present in the plasma that is responsible for regulating the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood. The three blood cells- Red Blood cells, White Blood Cells, and Platelets are produced in the red bone marrow.

WBCs or Leukocytes are the largest cells in the blood. There are four main types of blood groups viz. A, AB, B and O. Blood group AB is a universal receptor as it can donate to other AB’s but can receive from all others. Blood group O is called universal donor as it can donate to all other blood groups.
